He’s not the fastest wide receiver in the N-F-L, not even the top deep threat, but Packers All-Pro Davante Adams has come up with more “explosive” plays in the first six games of the season than any other player.
An explosive passing play is any completion of at least 16 yards and Adams has 16 of them.
He also has an N-F-L best of a dozen catches of at least 20 yards.
At 668, Adams has more receiving yardage than any other receiver in the league.
Explosive plays don’t always come on deep throws.
In many cases, Adams has caught an intermediate throw from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, then created an explosive play with his run after the catch.
