UW Green Bay has announced that they recently surpassed the 70% vaccination rate for students at all four of their campuses.
This announcement coincides with the UW System’s 70 for 70 campaign which was created by UW System President Tommy Thompson.
Under the UW System’s “70 for 70” campaign, fully vaccinated students who attend universities that reach the 70 percent threshold, based on fall 2020 full-time-equivalent enrollment, and excluding students studying only online, are eligible to win one of 70 scholarships valued at $7,000.
UW-Green Bay students are eligible for four of those scholarships.
UW-Green Bay Chancellor Michael Alexander said of reaching the milestone, “We want students to continue to have an amazing experience at UW-Green Bay. The 70% vaccination milestone helps everyone stay safe and on track to reach their educational goals.”
