A trial over a triple-fatal crash in Brown County is delayed while the lawyers on both sides argue over what evidence should be allowed.
Twenty-three-year-old Abdi Ahmed is charged with three counts of first-degree reckless homicide.
He was driving in a June 28th, 2020 crash that left Jessie Saldana, Sonia Gonzalez-Guillen, and Sonia Gonzalez dead.
At a Tuesday hearing in Green Bay, defense attorneys told the court they want to present evidence that the other driver, Saldana, had marijuana and amphetamine in his system.
The trial was set to start on November 9th. Now, a hearing will be held on November 11th to determine if the defense can offer that evidence.
