The family of a 25-year-old man shot to death last year in a bar fight is suing the club owner. Andra Nicholson was killed after arguing with another man about sports teams.
The nightclub called “Site 1-A” has closed since the incident last December, but Nicholson’s father is suing club owner Aaron Ohlsson.
The suit alleges the bar staff didn’t do anything to head off the shooting and the bar was open after-hours. Wrongful death is alleged.
The UW-Madison student was fatally wounded by former Hales Corners firefighter Caesar Fuentes. He is scheduled to go on trial next month.
