A 27-year-old man is facing charges in Manitowoc in several vandalism cases.
Officers with the Manitowoc Police Department were called to Angelus Senior Care on Bayshore Drive just before 9:00 AM yesterday (October 18th) on a report of a smashed window.
The officers were already aware of some other vandalism cases earlier in the day at Probation and Parole, Painting Pathways, and at the BayCare Clinic. Video surveillance appeared to show the same individual at all three locations.
The suspect was located and taken to the Police Department for questioning.
The man told authorities that he is a transient with no permanent residence but would not speak to the officers about the vandalism spree.
Officials say the suspect appears to have been the same person captured on video at all four locations.
The suspect was charged with at least two counts of Criminal Damage to Property, but more could be forthcoming.
