A 38-year-old Manitowoc man was arrested over the weekend after he reportedly punched his wife while they argued.
Officers responded to the citizen report in the 800 block of North 12th Street at around 5:30 Saturday morning.
When they arrived, they located the male and female, who denied anything physical occurred.
However, a witness to the incident said he was awoken by the sounds of the two arguing.
The witness reported grabbing his binoculars to get a better look and saw the man punch the woman.
The man was arrested, and a subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered Fentanyl and Methamphetamine.
The man has been charged with Possession of Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine, Battery with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, and Felony Bail Jumping.
