The Butterball company has issued a recall of over 14,000 pounds of ground turkey.
The reason for the recall was listed as potential contamination of blue plastic.
The products affected were the 2.5-pound trays of All Natural Ground Turkey, and the 3-pound trays of Kroger Ground Turkey, and were produced on September 28th.
The products are subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. P-7345” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
