A not guilty plea was entered on a woman’s behalf during a preliminary hearing at the Dane County Courthouse Wednesday.
33-year-old Kania C. Quinn stood mute during the hearing in Madison.
She’s accused of stabbing a man to death in a Fitchburg apartment last month.
Quinn is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of 62-year-old Fred Edwards Junior.
The two were living together and Fitchburg police say Quinn admitted she stabbed the victim multiple times.
She’s being held on a bond of $1 million.
