There is only one meeting on the schedule this evening in Manitowoc.
The Police and Fire Commission will gather in the Public Safety Building at 4:30 PM, where they will allow the public time to voice their comments.
Then, after going over the monthly reports, the Commission will look over the patrol officer eligibility list, and a request to promote Deputy Chief Jason Freiboth.
His new proposed role would be as the Assistant Police Chief and would replace the retiring Rob Barbier.
The City Group will also look over the Fire-Rescue Department eligibility list for a promotion to Company Officer, a list that contains six names.
