Holiday Drivers: Gas Prices Headed Up

Gasoline industry experts are warning disruptions at two regional oil refineries could mean a major increase in the pump price while you’re doing some holiday driving.  Two refineries have experienced mechanical problems.  A spokesman for GasBuddy-dot-com says the price could be five-to-15 cents-a-gallon higher in the next week.  Until this development, steady prices had been anticipated.  The hikes likely won’t have a major impact on the millions of travelers hitting the roads for Christmas and New Year’s Day.
