23-year-old Calvin Martinez-Alvear was pulled over for driving erratically Saturday just before midnight.
Deputies say he was uncooperative and drove away from the stop.
One deputy suffered a hand injury when he was nearly hit.
The car Martinez-Alvear had been driving was found partially submerged in a marsh near Lake Kegonsa.
Authorities found a pistol, a backpack containing T-H-C, and a jacket with the suspect’s I-D, cash, and more drugs.
Martinez-Alvear faces several charges, including causing an injury to a law enforcement officer by resisting, fleeing, and operating while intoxicated.
