Continuing their patriotic way, Metal Art of Wisconsin has created metal flags for the families of the thirteen men and women who died in the waning days of the Afghanistan War.
Shane Henderson, the owner of the Manitowoc institution, was able to contact each of the families and customize each steel plaque with their wishes and prayers.
These flags are four feet long, hand sanded and oiled, and are each has engraved steel plaques with pictures and ranks along with their branch of the military.
His team also created 17 personalized wood & steel flags for those injured in the attack.
These additional pieces also have steel plaques with all 13 of the fallen heroes.
To see pictures of all 30 flags, visit the Metal Art of Wisconsin Facebook page, or follow them on Instagram.
