Green Bay Packers’ Coach Matt LaFleur expects to have an update about the shoulder injury suffered by All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander today (October 6th).
If he misses substantial time, Alexander would become the fourth major Packers star sidelined by injury – following tackle David Bakhtiari, edge rusher Za’Darius Smith, and tackle Elgton Jenkins.
When the Packers travel to Cincinnati this weekend they face a Bengals team with three standout wide receivers.
Leaving Alexander behind would be a major blow.
If he is out for that game and Kevin King hasn’t returned, Isaac Yiadom would be pressed into action.
