Today marks the beginning of the Music for Tots classes being hosted by the Holy Family Conservatory of Music.
According to a news release, the classes aim to provide a wide repertoire of age-appropriate musical activities including songs, rhymes, movement, and playing of simple instruments.
Parents attending these classes learn the songs and activities and can therefore encourage and support their children in these activities at home.
Classes for children aged 2 to 3 starts at 10:30 on Tuesdays, and children age 3 to 4 can learn about music at 4:45 on Thursdays. Manitowoc Classes are held in the Franciscan Center for Music Education located at 6751 Calumet Ave in Manitowoc.
