A 28- year-old Green Bay woman is dead following a single-vehicle rollover accident early this morning in the Town of Kossuth.
Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig says the County Joint Dispatch Center was informed of the accident just after 6:45 a.m. on County Highway R North of Barringer Road.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle she was driving was traveling southbound on County Highway R when it entered the east ditch overturning several times before coming to rest on the passenger side. The victim was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fog may have been a factor in the accident however no additional information is being released at this time as the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Offices continue their investigation.
Assisting on scene were Manitowoc County First Responders, Fire and Rescue and Highway Department, Rockwood and Francis Creek Fire Departments, and PK’s Towing.
