A 22-year-old man was sentenced recently in Manitowoc County Court on child sex charges.
Cameron Loze pleaded Guilty to charges of Exposing a Child to Harmful Material and Possession of Fentanyl as a repeat offender, with twelve other charges, including multiple charges of Child Abuse, 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, and Strangulation and Suffocation dismissed but read into the record.
Judge Jerilyn Dietz sentenced Loze to a total of 4.5 years imprisonment, followed by four years of extended supervision upon his release.
Loze was arrested last year after police were informed of a series of sexual assaults, and at least one incident where he choked the victim.
He also sent the victim inappropriate pictures of his genitals on a social media platform.
Upon his release, Loze will be required to be on the sex offender registry for 15 years and obtain mental health treatment.
