Like many annual events, Madison’s AreaRED Block Party took last year off.
An announcement from U-W celebrates its return this afternoon (September 23rd) starting at 5:00 p-m.
It’s billed as a chance for students to meet members of the Badgers men’s and women’s basketball teams.
The two-hour free event will run through 7:00 p-m at the Memorial Union Terrace.
Organizers promise “a D-J, games, sunset views over Lake Mendota and more!”
They’re calling this the first official basketball event of the 2021-2022 season.
