There’s still not much doubt the Milwaukee Brewers will win the title in the National League Central Division, but their visitors this week are on a roll.
The rampaging Redbirds from St. Louis claimed their 11th victory in a row with a 10-2 Wednesday night at American Family Field.
Milwaukee still has an eight-and-a-half game lead with 11 games to go in the regular season, but the Brewers have lost four in a row.
Avisail Garcia’s 29th home run in the seventh inning was the biggest shot of the game by the Brewers.
Milwaukee tries to salvage the last game of the series this afternoon with Adrian Houser getting the start.
He pitched a complete-game two-hit shutout the last time he faced St. Louis.
