The six-year-old Kenosha boy who was seriously injured in a freak lawnmower accident is out of the I-C-U, but his recovery is still uncertain.
Alex Hook has been moved to a neurology floor at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin earlier this week.
He was hurt on September 10th when the mower near Riverview Elementary School threw a piece of metal that hit him in the back of the head.
He was taken off a ventilator Monday.
A family member says the boy is dealing with an infection, a fluctuating heart rate, and the possibility of another surgery.
He has issues with his fine motor skills on his right side.
