Even though he was a third-round pick in the 2019 N-F-L Draft, tight end Jace Sternberger never developed the consistency the Packers were looking for.
Sternberger had been suspended for the first two games of this season for violating the N-F-L substance abuse policy.
Now, he’s out of a job.
Reports indicate the Packers are hoping to put him on the practice squad.
Sternberger’s short career has included two concussions, an ankle injury, and some time on the COVID list.
His on-the-field production has been limited to 12 receptions for 114 yards and one touchdown.
