Pardon the Marquette volleyball team if its players and coaches wonder what they have to do to move up.
The Golden Eagles have just missed the top 25 in this week’s A-V-C-A national poll despite a pair of sweeps last weekend.
With 41 points, Marquette is unofficially 26th in that poll.
The Golden Eagles return to action Friday when they visit Villanova for the Big East Conference opener for both sides.
They continue conference play Saturday against Georgetown.
