There are a couple of meetings scheduled for this evening in Manitowoc County Government.
First up is a County Board Public Hearing, which is scheduled for 6:00 PM in the Heritage Center. The hearing will be on the tentative County Board Supervisory District Plan.
Then at 6:30 PM, the County Board of Supervisors will gather in the same room.
Amber Daugs of Grow it Forward and Christma Rusch from the Lighthouse Recovery Center will be on hand to discuss the Hunger and Housing Coalition in the county, after which there will be a discussion regarding the County Executive’s veto of a resolution that would have established County Executive Compensation for the 2022 through 2026 term.
The Board will also appoint David Funkhouser to fill a vacancy on the Local Emergency Planning Committee, on which he will serve a two-year term.
