A judge has ordered a competency exam for the woman who allegedly shot an Oconto Falls Police Officer in the head during a scuffle.
28-year-old Alisha Kocken has been charged with Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, and this exam will determine if she is able to understand the court proceedings and can assist in her defense.
Kocken reportedly got into a scuffle with Police Officer Nicole Blaskowski on August 6th and shot her in the head after getting the officer’s service weapon from her holster.
Kocken’s bail has been set at $750,000 and will return to court on October 14th.
She was previously committed to a mental health facility, but has since been released, and is back in jail.
