The trend on the video-sharing platform TikTok has taken the nation by storm and has left in its wake, destruction.
The idea of the trend is for users of the app to steal bigger and bigger items, and then post a video showing what they stole.
This has become a problem at schools across the country and in Eastern Wisconsin, as students have been taking things like toilet paper, soap, and paper towel dispensers, resulting in some of the restrooms becoming unusable.
This trend has struck hard in the Neenah Public School District, but also in the Green Bay Area Public School District.
Details regarding the incidents in Green Bay have not been released, but in Neenah, administrators say they have caught nearly every perpetrator thanks to cameras outside each bathroom.
