First Lady Jill Biden talked to parents and educators about a return to in-person learning and using federal funds for COVID-19 safety protocols Wednesday morning.
Biden stopped at Marvin E. Pratt Elementary School in Milwaukee.
She didn’t take questions from the media and made no comments about school vaccine mandates or a city-wide mask mandate.
The public appearance comes after public health officials have been warning that COVID cases among children are rising rapidly and currently make up about one-third of all the cases in Milwaukee County.
After the morning stop in Wisconsin, she flew to Iowa for a similar event.
