Janesville police were called to Parker High School Wednesday morning after a fight involving five students caused the school to go onto a soft lockdown.
Four of the students were arrested for battery and the fifth is accused of disorderly conduct.
The school’s liaison officer worked with staff members at the school to separate the students who were fighting just before 11:00 a-m.
One of the students may have attacked a staff member.
School district officials say disciplinary action will be enforced against the students after an investigation is complete.
Student incidents at a Sun Prairie middle school and Oshkosh West High School have been reported over the last week.
