A three-star shooting guard prospect from Albion, Indiana has announced his commitment to the Wisconsin basketball program.
6′ 4″ Connor Essegian made the announcement Wednesday at Central Noble High School.
Essegian has a reputation as an outstanding shooter, averaging 24 points a game as a sophomore and 25 as a junior.
The scholarship was offered to the class of 2022 recruit in August.
Essegian had taken official visits to Wake Forest and Wisconsin, but he canceled scheduled trips to Butler and Minnesota to put the recruitment to rest.
24-7 Sports reports he hit 40 percent of his 3-pointers last season.
