The Reedsville Panthers move up from eighth to seventh in the Small Schools Division of this week’s AP High School Football Poll as voted on by sportswriters who cover the sport on a regular basis. The Panthers defeated Ozaukee 48 to 7last Friday to remain undefeated.
The Hilbert Wolves of the Big East Conference rolled to a 53 to 6 win over Random Lake to improve to 4 and 0 setting up the showdown between the two conference heavyweights Friday night in Hilbert.
Regis of Eau Claire received nine of ten first-place votes to remain number one. Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh also received votes. Catholic Memorial of Waukesha sits atop the Medium Schools Division. Luxemburg-Casco and Freedom are eighth and ninth respectively while Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian received votes.
The Kimberly Papermakers stay at number four in the Large School Division and Appleton North checks in at number ten. Bayport of the FRCC also received votes.
