Details are a little fuzzy, but two Manitowoc residents were arrested on Child Abuse charges over the weekend.
Officers were dispatched to a home in the trailer park located at 2000 Johnston Drive at around 6:15 PM on Saturday in response to a report of a physical altercation.
The resident told the officers that her stepfather and his girlfriend were at the home and had gotten into a physical altercation with her.
The duo reportedly stuck the woman’s child, whose age was redacted from the report, and neighbors had to step in.
The 41-year-old man and 45-year-old woman were arrested on charges of Physical Abuse of a Child, and Disorderly Conduct, with the man also being nabbed for Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
