A man was arrested in Manitowoc on an OWI charge after he reportedly started driving the wrong way down a one-way street over the weekend.
An officer was sitting at the intersection of North 8th and Buffalo Streets on Saturday, when he witnessed a vehicle begin driving south on the north only street.
He conducted a traffic stop, and immediately smelled alcohol, and noticed the man was slurring his speech.
The Officer also noticed an open container of beer in the cup holder while the man searched for proof of insurance.
The man was also found to have two open court cases, which stated he was supposed to maintain absolute sobriety, so the man was arrested.
The arrest report only shows that he has been charged with one Felony and one Misdemeanor count of Bail Jumping, but the results of the blood draw were not yet received by the time the report was issued.
