There are a pair of meetings scheduled for today in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission, which will convene at 4:00 PM in the MPU Conference Room.
They will be entering a closed session where they will look over the amended comfort resolution and will reconvene in open session to discuss the rate fee and cost of service study from the Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Then at 5:30 PM, the Public Safety Committee will gather in the Council Chambers.
After giving the public time to voice their comments, the Committee will discuss the city ordinance regulation fences and hedges, and regarding controlled vs uncontrolled intersections.
They will also look over requests to install stop signs at the intersection of North 10th and St. Clair Streets and to change the intersection of Madison and South 13th Streets into a controlled intersection.
Also on the docket are a couple of discussions regarding some changes that will have to happen as the two-way traffic transition begins.
