Manitowoc Public Utilities is inviting the public to attend an outdoor Open House on Thursday, September 16th from 1 pm to 6 pm.
As one of more than 2,000 public power utilities across the country, MPU is a utility owned by the residents of the City. This event is being held to showcase and educate customers on their utility.
The Open House event will be located at their facilities on the corner of 8th and Madison Street, with a welcome booth set up in the employee parking area off of Madison St. behind the Main Office.
Tours of the Water Treatment Plant, Waste Water Treatment Facility, and Power Plant will be offered throughout the afternoon along with interactive and educational exhibits and bucket truck rides. More details can be found on the MPU Facebook page.
