It will be a busy day today in the City of Manitowoc, as there are four total meetings on the docket, with the first three taking place at 4:00 PM.
One of those is a meeting of the Manitowoc Public Library Board Personnel Committee, who will be screening candidates for the Executive Director position.
Meanwhile, the Board of Public Works will be in the Council Chambers. They will be taking bids for the replacement of the retaining wall on Magnolia Avenue, and for the repair of the western counterweight on the S.S. Badger Carferry Ramp.
Also at 4:00, the Industrial Development Corporation will be in the Second Floor Conference Room, with only one item on the agenda. They will be discussing an option and right of first refusal regarding a certified survey conducted on a parcel of land in the City.
Closing out the evening will be the Room Tax Commission, who will enter a closed session to continue their discussion regarding the contract negotiations with the City of Two Rivers and the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau.
