A De Pere man is facing charges after he led authorities on a high-speed chase in Wrightstown.
It all started at around 2:20 Saturday morning when an officer watched as a vehicle pull into the parking lot of Greenleaf Bank and remain there for several minutes. As the vehicle left the parking lot, the driver ran a stop sign, prompting a traffic stop.
As the officer came close, the vehicle sped off, reaching speeds of over 100 MPH on County Highway U. He then turned onto County Highway S, and entered a Kwik Trip parking lot, where he was then taken into custody.
The 23-year-old man was charged with Eluding an Officer, his 3rd OWI offense, and several other traffic violations.
