A fire in Fond du Lac yesterday morning completely destroyed a garage and damaged another.
The fire in the 100 block of Everett Street was reported to the Fond du Lac Fire Department at around 11:50 AM.
By the time crews arrived, the detached garage was completely engulfed in flames, which had also spread to a nearby detached garage.
Crews had a difficult time, as they had to deal with downed power lines which fell because of the fire.
Half an hour later however they were able to subdue the blaze with no injuries reported.
The neighboring garage sustained only minimal damage, but the first one was completely destroyed.
A damage cost estimate has not yet been released, and the cause has not yet been determined.
