A Madison hospital has been honored nationally for the care it provides to heart attack patients.
It’s the 10th straight year for University Hospital to be recognized. UW Health says it earned the Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2021 after attaining the highest level in performance measurements.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says almost 70,000 Americans have a heart attack every year.
