A local veteran is inviting her fellow veterans to join her at Jenn’s Java in Manitowoc this weekend so they can talk about the situation in Afghanistan.
Ashley Smits, who also organized the Manitowoc County Veteran’s Facebook page, has reserved the meeting room at Jenn’s Java from 10:00 to 11:30 AM on Sunday (August 29th) and is encouraging all veterans to come and talk with like-minded individuals about how the situation is affecting them.
If you are unable to attend but need to talk to someone, you are encouraged to call the Veterans Crisis Line at 1-800-273-8255 and select option 1 or send them a text to 838255.
