After being rained out on Tuesday, the Remember the Fallen event has been rescheduled for September 6th.
At the event, volunteers will be reading the names of all U.S. Servicemen and Women who died while serving in Afghanistan, including the 11 marines, one Navy Medic, and one unspecified servicemember who died in the suicide bombings this week in Kabul.
Those deaths bring the war-long total up to 2,456.
The reading will be once again live-streamed on the Seehafer News and Coolest Coast Manitowoc County Facebook pages, but the public is invited to come watch in person.

Enter your name, email address, and telephone number, and in the news tip section write “Remember the Fallen Event Volunteer” and indicate a time frame you are available to participate.
The event will run from 11:00 until around 5:00 PM.
