It’s right that a lot of the preseason attention for Wisconsin volleyball has centered on the veterans who are returning – like Dana Rettke, Sydney Hilley, Lauren Barnes, Gio Civita and Grace Loberg.

Two transfers are battling for a place in the Badgers’ rotation.
Former Iowa Hawkeye Joslyn Boyer and former North Carolina Tar Heel Sydney Reed add a lot of talent to the team.
Boyer was the starting libero for Iowa last season with 279 total digs.
Reed is a sophomore who played in Chapel Hill last fall before joining U-W this spring.
She spent time this summer with Badgers sophomore Devyn Robinson on the U-S Under-20 National Training Team.
