An Appleton woman is about to make history as the first female on-ice coach of a team in the U-S Hockey League.
Amy Broslma has been hired as the Green Bay Gamblers’ new skating and skills development coach.
Brolsma has more than 25 years of coaching experience as she joins the Gamblers.
She started as a figure skater but has coached hockey players like Brett Gruber, Tony Stillwell, and Trenton Bliss.
She will be working with Gamblers head coach Pat Mikesch.
