As a reminder, you have until 5:00 this evening (August 23rd) to sign up to be a part of the Remember the Fallen event at The Wharf in Manitowoc tomorrow morning (August 24th).
This event, put on by our own Ryan Brahm, CoolestCoast.com, and AmVets Post 99, is intended to honor the brave men and women who died in service to our country while in Afghanistan.
All 2,443 names of fallen U.S. soldiers will be read, and you are invited to participate.
To sign up, visit SeehaferNews.com, click the “more” tab, then click on “news tip”. Enter your name, email address, and telephone number, and in the news tip section write “Remember the Fallen Event Volunteer” and indicate a time frame you are available to participate.
The reading will begin at 11:00 AM and is expected to take around 6 hours.
