After trailing the entire game, Avisail Garcia tied it with a one-out homer in the ninth, then the Brewers put three runs on the board in the 10th to beat St. Louis 6-4 Wednesday night.
Garcia had two home runs as his team ballooned its lead in the NLCentral standings to a season-high 9.5 games.
Milwaukee could be called “road warriors” after winning for the 17th time in 19 games away from home.
The win could be an expensive one, though. Freddy Peralta left the action in the third inning due to a shoulder issue.
The Brewers go for the sweep tonight (August 19th) behind Brandon Woodruff.
The game begins at 6:10 PM and will be aired on 107.9 FM WOMT.
