A Michigan man is facing charges after he reportedly traveled to Oshkosh to have sex with a 15-year-old girl.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office claims that 42-year-old Scott Sundberg began exchanging messages online with someone he thought was the parent of a 15-year-old girl, however it was actually law enforcement with the FBI and Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.
Sundberg reportedly exchanged sexually explicit conversations with the “child” and sent pornographic photos of other children.
He made the trip with Wisconsin last week Friday (August 13th), which is when he was arrested.
A federal grand jury in Milwaukee approved a charge of using a computer to attempt to persuade, induce or entice a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity, which carries with it a minimum 10-year prison sentence.
