An armed suspect hiding from police was sprayed by a skunk Monday night. Witnesses had told officers 37-year-old Michael Ring was “out of control” and armed with a knife.
They said he was intoxicated and high on drugs.
Ring ran from the scene as officers arrived and while he was hiding, the skunk sprayed him.
Police say he was using the knife to cut a vehicle’s tires when they finally arrested him.
The pungent suspect resisted but was brought under control and examined at a hospital before he was booked into the Dane County Jail.
He faces five charges including disorderly conduct while armed and criminal damage to property.
