Big Brothers Big Sisters WI Shoreline and Johnsonville have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Chowdown in Cheesetown.
The decision comes after high rates of community spread of COVID-19. In a press release, BBBS states, “Knowing how well-loved and attended this event has been for the past seven years, the decision was certainly hard to make, but was the right thing for us to do.”
Chowdown in Cheesetown is a fundraiser for BBBS, so with its absence, BBBS asks supporters to shift their focus to their On the Bright Side Campaign which will be taking place this holiday season.
