The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office says a woman died after being trapped in a vehicle Tuesday night during a hit-and-run crash. Deputies received a call about the crash in the city of New Lisbon at around 9:25 P-M. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman trapped inside the vehicle. Deputies say the woman was freed from the vehicle and taken to the hospital where she later died. Investigators say a man at the scene, who identified himself as the driver, was also taken to the hospital. The identities of the victim and the driver have not been released. The incident remains under investigation.
