The Prevent Suicide Manitowoc County Walk/Run for Hope about a month and half away, and the organization is looking for people to participate in some new additions to the event.
While the money raised from the walk and run will benefit military suicide awareness, Shanen Daly told Seehafer News that they are looking to have a remembrance video played, where we can remember everyone who has lost their battle.
She explained that “If you are interested in having your loved one in the Remembrance Video, you can send photos to Contact@PreventSuicideManitowoc.com, with “Remembrance Pictures” in the subject line.”
Another way you can get involved is by taking part in another new addition. “We are also looking for interviewees for awareness interviews,” Shanen explained. “If you are currently struggling, or have struggled with military suicide ideation, we are looking to interview people.”
If you want to be involved in that, you can send an email to the same address, with Awareness Interview in the subject line. This is the 10th annual iteration of the event, and Prevent Suicide is trying to make it the biggest and best event to date.
