A Facebook post recently went viral throughout Green Bay, after a 32 year old woman from the city claimed an officer used excessive force while detaining her. The woman posted a message, pictures, and a video, which appears to show her arrest from the view of a survailence camera. Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith is disputing the claims saying, “We’ve got multiple people that saw this. There’s a lot of misinformation, and the woman who’s putting it up there does not even recall what happened because she was so intoxicated during this whole event.” Smith also says her blood alcohol level was a .24, and witnesses told police she had been kicked out of a bar for being too drunk. The woman says she posted the message on Facebook hoping someone who saw it happen would come forward to help her understand the incident.
