A Green Bay man is facing charges after he allegedly attempted to get a 10-year-old girl into his vehicle.
Officers were sent to the area of Wilson and Velp Avenue on August 4th after a caller claimed that a man in a white SUV had attempted to lure a child into his vehicle.
The witness told authorities that the man saw them talking to the child, and attempted to elude them, but had circled back around to talk to the girl again.
The witness asked the girl if she was ok, to which the girl shook her head no.
The suspect, later identified as 29-year-old Martaesian Demileo Riley, reportedly told the girl that he knew her, but the girl said she didn’t.
Using photos of the vehicle, officials were able to locate Riely, who admitted what he did.
He has been charged with Child Enticement as a repeat offender and could spend up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
