One of the top returning players for the Wisconsin Badgers says his coach “knows he’s got some things to change.”
Sophomore Jonathan Davis is the first U-W basketball player to comment directly on the leak of an audiotape from a team meeting.
Last year’s senior class said they had problems with the way Greg Gard was operating and they didn’t feel they had much of a relationship with the coach.
Davis says Gard has made a concerted effort to meet with players and incoming recruits and work on developing stronger relationships.
Davis says his coach has done a much better job at connecting with the players.
